RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I understand that this event includes darkness & haunted rooms. I understand that this event may be crowded, dark and loud. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS the City of New York, The New York Public Library, Ooky Spooky LLC, and each of its parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, officials, agents and/or employees, and the other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and owners (collectively, “RELEASEES”), from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liability that I now have, or hereafter may have, by reason of any matter connected to my attendance or my child’s attendance at the event, including but not limited to, any INJURY, DISABILITY OR DEATH or loss or damage to personal property to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY ACCEPTING IT, AND ACCEPT IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
